Meditation Retreat

Wild & Within: A Meditation Retreat for Inner-Peace

A nourishing weekend of self-care, stillness, and sacred connection, surrounded by nature.

We are thrilled to announce that we have discovered an enchanting and remarkable retreat venue in the Scottish Borders, nestled at the heart of the countryside. A few miles away from Melrose, nestled beneath trees just below the legendary Eildon Hills in the Scottish Borders. The only place in the UK with a collection of French hand crafted Roulottes in a wildflower meadow, nestled around a wildlife pond.

The site is stunning, featuring a boho-chic studio with an incredible log-burning fireplace, as well as an outdoor covered deck. This studio will serve as the heartbeat of the retreat, a place for us to gather and delve deep into self-care, meditation, and other sacred practices designed to cultivate self-love and a deeper understanding of how to regulate our nervous systems. We will connect with higher states of consciousness through meditation, celestial communication, gentle yoga, pranayama (yogic breathing), and various sacred practices both indoors and outdoors (weather pending).

Due to its remote location, light pollution is minimal, providing opportunities to witness the Northern Lights at times, along with a breathtakingly starry sky (weather permitting).

The venue owners, have an outstanding ethos that aligns with our values. They have created a magical space adorned with treasures from India and beyond. Their attention to detail is exceptional, and each wooden Roulotte (accommodation) is unique, showcasing vibrant colours and intricate hand-carved details made with love. Each Roulotte is nestled in a wild meadow with lots of privacy to relax and enjoy the magic of the Scottish borders (and some Roulotte offer optional access to a wood-fired Japanese-style hot tub, an outdoor copper bathtub, or a sauna (for hygiene reasons, these can only be used by the students staying in the accommodation that has these attached as are chemical-free, allowing you to bathe in fresh water without harsh additives)).

This retreat is primarily self-catering, allowing you the freedom to choose what and when you eat. However, at times, a light snack will be provided: upon arrival, and again, a light snack will be offered at lunchtime on Saturday (e.g., soup and a sweet treat). You will also receive a small welcome basket of essentials for your stay (cereal, bread, vegan butter, vegan milk, herbal tea, some fruit).

No prior experience is required. The meditations will incorporate a fusion of approaches, providing you with a blueprint for your practice.
