What is the format of the meditation course?

The course combines 6 face-to-face sessions, with self-directed learning through our online portal in between, accessible on any device with internet connection.


How often are the face-to-face sessions held?

Six face-to-face training days starting on 24th May 2025.

Location: Centre for Positive Change. Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland

In person days are held on the following Saturdays from 08:45-17:15

  • Sat 23rd August,

  • Sat 11th October (with graduation)

Who can enroll in this meditation course?

The course is open to anyone with an interest in Meditation, and becoming a Certified Teacher.

How do I access the online portal?

You will receive login credentials to access the online portal at the first face to face session. You can access the portal via any device with an internet connection.

What will I learn in the face-to-face sessions?

The face-to-face sessions focus on practical meditation techniques, guided practices, and teaching methods, practice teaching, theory and application of meditation, and shared collective experiences.

What does the online self-directed learning component include?

The online component includes reading materials, guided audio meditations, quizzes and a community to ask questions.


Can I complete the course at my own pace?

Yes, the course is designed to flow in a particular way to support learning and reinforce knowledge. The online materials are discussed during in person sessions and then available after that session to browse and refresh knowledge.

How do I interact with Scott & Carla and other participants?

There is an exclusive community for this course to share insights and get to know your fellow trainee meditation teachers. You can also directly message us through the online portal or via email.

Are there any prerequisites for this course?

No, prior experience with meditation is not required. The course is designed to accommodate everyone, willing to spend time building a meditation practice.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Upon full completion; submission of required materials and full attendance throughout the course, you will be certified to teach meditation, all of which has to pass the accreditation process.
